"There are no random acts...We are all connected...You can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind..."

Everything happens for a reason. Everyone's path is somehow intertwined with everyone else's. The Five People You Meet in Heaven, by Mitch Albom illustrates the idea that every thing you do, every move you make influences others around you. You may never know, but the littlest of things could alter the life of a stranger drastically and change them forever. The book is told from the perspective of Eddie, an 83 year old amusement park worker who feels as if his life is meaningful. Eddie dies in an accident while trying to save a falling cart. He is awoken in the afterlife, a place where five people who have some how influenced and altered his life tell him about his time on earth. Eddie learns about events in his life that were drastically altered due to others. The Five People You Meet in Heaven is an amazing story full of wisdom and insight.
